Meet Our Staff
Pastor Dave Knutsen
Pastor Dave Knutsen came to accept Christ as his personal Savior through the faithful witness of a friend at the age of 30
in the fall of 1977. Dave, & his wife Kathy, began attending a bible study that soon became the Duluth Bible Church (DBC).
As DBC grew numerically the saints grew in grace & in the knowledge of God’s word. Opportunities to witness of God’s amazing grace,
teach SS, and to teach from the DBC pulpit, indicated the need for more in depth training in God’s word. Pastor Dennis Rokser soon
began the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies (GIBS), and ten men from DBC began a 5 year program of intensive study to develop
further these men, should the Lord open doors of opportunity for possible future ministry in the word. While participating in the
GIBS program, Dave served as a deacon & elder at DBC and taught bible studies in the Twin Cities & other places. As the ministry here
developed, the believers in the Twin Cities desired Dave & his family to move down, and to become their pastor. In November 1999,
Dave was ordained & moved his family to Coon Rapids, MN to pastor the Grace Gospel Bible Church. Dave & Kathy have four grow children
and nine grandchildren.
